University Of Tampa Entrepreneurship Program Upends Traditional Business Model
A college degree can be the gateway to starting your own company
The University of Tampa (UT) Entrepreneurship Program was featured on Morning in America on NewsNation as the trend of students pursuing business degrees keeps growing.
The entrepreneurship program at UT prepares students for the intricacies of starting and leading a new business with a focus on creativity and innovation, new venture planning, entrepreneurial finance, and managing and growing a new business. The curriculum is designed around two themes: screening and recognizing opportunities to create value and personal innovation despite scarce organizational resources.
The University of Tampa launched John P. Lowth Entrepreneurship Center ten years ago to encourage students to pursue entrepreneurship as it can be a pathway to realizing their dreams and financial goals. Here students not only learn the skills they need to succeed in business but graduate as business owners.
