LACC Music Presents Latin Version of The Star-Spangled Banner
LACC Music, a student collective from The Herb Alpert Music Center at Los Angeles City College, is proud to present its Latin version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" in honor of the heroes who forged the freedom and independence of the United States of America. This arrangement was created to celebrate America's diversity and to represent all members of the LACC community.
Professor Euro Zambrano directed this music production and arranged it with folkloric Latin rhythms combined with vocals from LACC music major Cinnamon “La Canela,” along with a new chorus written by both parties. This collaboration between students and professors showcases their passion for music as well as their respect for this nation's history.
This unique production honors America while offering something new with its Latin twist on a classic anthem. Through this initiative, LACC Music encourages everyone to join them in celebrating our country's independence by listening to their rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
The Latin version of The Star-Spangled Banner, presented by LACC Music, is truly an inspiring initiative that celebrates the diverse culture of America while paying homage to our national anthem. It is a great example of how collaboration between students and professors can create something special and meaningful. Let us join LACC Music in honoring our heroes who fought to create freedom and independence in this country by listening to its rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner!
