An International Focus: NC State is home to more than 4,800 international students who come from 120 different countries. The university prides itself on its global perspective and offers many resources to ensure international students are successful. The Office of International Services is dedicated to helping international students with every step in their educational journey, from application to graduation. The Office of International Students hosts 12 cultural programs that allow students to get involved with the cultures and traditions of their friends and share their culture with the larger NC State community. These programs allow international students to meet new friends with similar experiences, take on leadership roles, and strengthen their English language and cross-cultural communication skills.

Join the Pack: It’s easy to get into the game at NC State! Students can cheer on the NC State Wolfpack, who compete in 21 different sports, including soccer, tennis, baseball and football. NC State varsity sports perform well every year, and the Wolfpack men’s basketball team won the national championship twice, in both 1974 and 1983.
