Join the Pack: It’s easy to get into the game at NC State! Students can cheer on the NC State Wolfpack, who compete in 21 different sports, including soccer, tennis, baseball and football. NC State varsity sports perform well every year, and the Wolfpack men’s basketball team won the national championship twice, in both 1974 and 1983.
Students can also participate in club sports, or stay active in the university’s recently remodeled Carmichael Wellness and Recreation Center. All students have access to the aquatics center, indoor track, cardio and weight rooms, basketball courts, indoor climbing wall and sauna. You can play through NC State’s campus recreation program.
