The Tutorium offers English language programs that help international students qualify for UIC undergraduate or graduate programs. Deferred admission decisions are available for UIC degrees via the Tutorium.

Intensive English Program (IEP) Highlights

• Established in 1978
• Entry dates in August, October, January, late February, and May
• 16-week semester length with 8-week options starting midterm
• Beginner through advanced levels
• Full-time study, 18-25 hours weekly
• Small classes with professional faculty
• On-campus housing or recommendations for off-campus housing
