Moravian College sits at the intersection of historic and history-making. As the 6th oldest university in America, we’ve earned our reputation as an eye-opening and a world-changing place to learn and explore. Plus, we’re ranked among the “best colleges in the U.S.” and the “best college campuses in PA.”

Moravian’s academic excellence, top-ranked faculty, and commitment to diversity and inclusion are what draw students from across the state of Pennsylvania, and beyond, to study at our innovative institution.

As a student at Moravian, you’ll get the classic American university experience. And we would know—we’ve been doing this for more than 275 years. There are endless research opportunities, greek life, the latest technology, sports, student clubs, and even study abroad. We don’t plan on putting any boundaries on your education. In fact, we’ll clear a path for you to follow your passions.

Let’s make history together.

Moravian College offers programs of study leading to four baccalaureate degrees—Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

With more than 55 majors and programs of study to choose from, you can study anything from Accounting to Studio Art. Double or triple major if you’d like. Or create your own major to fit with your career goals and passions. Whatever you decide, you have our support.

Additionally, you can participate in our Honors Program, SOAR research, local internships, student clubs, study abroad, and more.

Our average class size is 17 students, with an 11:1 student to faculty ratio. That means your professors know you by first name and care about your success! You’ll be given a Macbook Pro and an iPad to use during all four years of school, and you can even keep them once you graduate.

Moravian's graduate and certificate programs are designed to prepare top-notch graduates to meet the needs of growing industries—and they're also designed to fit into your life, not uproot it. That’s why graduate courses are offered in traditional, accelerated, blended, and online formats. Located along the east coast of the United States, Moravian calls Bethlehem, Pennsylvania home. In this bustling small town you’ll find yourself just a short drive away from major cities, like Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, D.C. Just imagine all the weekend trips and new adventures!

But don’t worry, there’s plenty to do right in the Lehigh Valley too. Whether you’re attending one of the best music festivals in North America (Musikfest) or enjoying a baseball game at Coca Cola Stadium, there’s never a dull moment in Bethlehem, PA.

The Bethlehem community is always very welcoming of Moravian students and often partners with the College to offer internships, hands-on learning opportunities, and free events.

Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley experiences all four seasons to the fullest. Fall brings crisp sweater-weather and colorful leaves. Winter coats our campus with snow. Spring offers rain showers and blooming flowers. And summer is sunny and warm. Every season brings a little something different to Bethlehem and we love it!

Yes! The safety of our students is a top priority at Moravian College.
