Undergraduate Academics
Moravian College offers programs of study leading to four baccalaureate degrees—Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
With more than 55 majors and programs of study to choose from, you can study anything from Accounting to Studio Art. Double or triple major if you’d like. Or create your own major to fit with your career goals and passions. Whatever you decide, you have our support.
Additionally, you can participate in our Honors Program, SOAR research, local internships, student clubs, study abroad, and more.
Our average class size is 17 students, with an 11:1 student to faculty ratio. That means your professors know you by first name and care about your success! You’ll be given a Macbook Pro and an iPad to use during all four years of school, and you can even keep them once you graduate.

Location
Located along the east coast of the United States, Moravian calls Bethlehem, Pennsylvania home. In this bustling small town you’ll find yourself just a short drive away from major cities, like Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, D.C. Just imagine all the weekend trips and new adventures!
But don’t worry, there’s plenty to do right in the Lehigh Valley too. Whether you’re attending one of the best music festivals in North America (Musikfest) or enjoying a baseball game at Coca Cola Stadium, there’s never a dull moment in Bethlehem, PA.
The Bethlehem community is always very welcoming of Moravian students and often partners with the College to offer internships, hands-on learning opportunities, and free events.
Weather
Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley experiences all four seasons to the fullest. Fall brings crisp sweater-weather and colorful leaves. Winter coats our campus with snow. Spring offers rain showers and blooming flowers. And summer is sunny and warm. Every season brings a little something different to Bethlehem and we love it!
Safety
Yes! The safety of our students is a top priority at Moravian College. Our campus police work to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone and are always available to help, should the need arise. We also offer 24-hour escort and daily shuttle services, as well as emergency blue light phones throughout campus.
Student Life
There’s plenty to do at Moravian College, whether you’re interested in sports, art, or community involvement. As an NCAA Division III school, Moravian has 20 varsity-level sports teams, as well as 10 intramural teams if you’re just looking to have fun! There are more than 80 student clubs to participate in, including music ensembles, student government, student unions, and more.
Cost and Aid
We are committed to helping you reach your goals—and that includes providing an affordable private education. We offer International Student Merit Scholarships up to $25,000.00 based on academic achievement: grades, strength of academic program, TOEFL or IELTS scores, and SAT scores, if submitted with complete application.
The International Club
The International Club aims to promote awareness in international cultures. The International Club hopes to foster a friendly exchange of cultural ideas, practices, and traditions between students, staff, faculty, administrators, and members of the local community on the various cultures they represent. To provide a common ground of understanding between individuals of various ethnic origins at Moravian College, through social, cultural, and educational activities.
Members of the International Club will develop deeper understanding of international concerns, while fostering education and awareness programs about global perspectives at the college and in the community. Conversely, the International Club will assist international students in gaining a better understanding of American culture and adjusting to life in the Moravian community.
The Center for Global Education
The Center for Global Education (CGE) centralizes a full range of resources for recruiting and facilitating the success of international students and scholars, education abroad, including advice and assistance in visa applications, immigration, tax filing, employment, and a variety of cultural matters.
CGE promotes the global perspective of our international students and engages the greater community through events, cultural programs, and workshops. Furthermore, CGE supports international students in becoming acquainted and adjusted to a new culture while preparing them for future leadership.
