Location

Located in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, Maryville University offers a safe and friendly campus environment.

St. Louis is a historic city full of vibrant, unique neighborhoods, each with its own vibe. Residents are friendly and take an enormous amount of pride in their city. This thriving metropolitan city offers with something for everyone. Second only to Washington, D.C. for the most number of free attractions, St. Louis has the St. Louis Zoo, Science Center, Art Museum, Missouri History Museum, Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tours, and so much more.

If you enjoy sports, we have the St. Louis Cardinals (Major League Baseball), St. Louis Blues (National Hockey League), St. Louis City SC (Major League Soccer - coming 2023!), and our very own Maryville University Saints!

Active Learning Ecosystem

Our classrooms are innovative, and all undergraduate students receive an iPad. Your iPad will contain your textbooks, class notes, homework…just about everything you’ll need for school. We put students at the center of hands-on learning with technology that is built into the fabric of the curriculum. Students actively participate in the learning process by doing, making and interacting with each other and the environment around them, anytime and anywhere.

Life Coaching

Each first-year student works closely with a life coach who serves as a resource, a guide, a knowledgeable advisor and a mentor… and that’s just the beginning. Your life coach is approachable and accessible. He or she serves as your confidante when questions arise, as your source of support when concerns come about and as your advocate when it’s time to celebrate your successes. Your life coach guides you through academic and career planning decisions, and helps ease your personal transition into the Maryville community.

Housing & Dining

Maryville University offers three traditional residential halls along with on-campus apartment style living for sophomore to graduate level students. Our newest residential hall – Saints Hall – is equipped with collaborative spaces for students to live and learn together. When Maryville students aren’t learning, sleeping or having a great time, they are eating in our beautiful dining facility. Maryville University’s Gander Dining Hall has won a four-star rating by the Green Dining Alliance of St. Louis for fully embracing “norms for sustainable restaurant management and operations.”
