Hanover College is small, private college located in Hanover, Indiana.  Established in 1827 as Indiana’s first private college, Hanover has a longstanding history within the state and recognition for Alumni success.  With about 1,100 undergraduate students, over 600 acres of land, exceptional academic rigor, and lab or internship opportunities it is not a surprise that 99% of Hanover graduates are continuing their education or fully employed within 7 months after leaving.

We have 34 distinct programs including a design your own, but Hanover is most known for Business, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Engineering.  The liberal arts background of Hanover students is highly valued by employers and graduate programs.  By allowing students to pursue their field of interest and enrich their education with a rigorous and diverse education, our students face more opportunities after Hanover.  A dedicated Career Center prepares students throughout their 4 years for their next step and ensures student success.

  • Business: Hanover offers a bachelor’s degree in business including the following additional sub-concentrations: Marketing, Management, Finance, Analytics, International Business, and Technology and Design Management.  By partnering with businesses throughout the program, students are immersed in a traditional business education with practical and real-world experiences.
  • Health Sciences: Hanover has a variety of Health Science programs such as Pre-Medicine, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Veterinary, Pre-Dental, and Nursing.  With our distinguished and newly renovated Human Cadaver lab, students gain experience at the undergraduate level that graduate level medical students don’t always have.  Our Pre-Health program also features an incredible patient simulator lab and Medical Externship Program with the local hospital.
  • Natural Sciences: Hanover’s campus is a natural scientist’s playground.  With natural forests, rock formations, water supplies, and history any Biology, Geology, or Environmental Science student gains real world lab experience every day on campus.  With an analytical chemistry lab that is next to none in terms of instrumentation, students are exposed to graduate research opportunities at the undergraduate level.
  • Engineering: Hanover has state of the art Engineering labs that train students in a practical and immersive manner as well as integrating partnerships with Engineering companies throughout the program.

Hanover strives to set students up for success which is also why our generous financial aid is to note.  We know the value of a Hanover education which is why we strived to make if affordable for all families.  100% of Hanover students receive scholarships to apply towards tuition, including International Students!  Financial assistance is awarded to our admitted International Students based on merit and demonstrated need.

Hanover also has a rich athletic and social life on campus.  With over 70 clubs and organizations stemming from service, faith, language, cultural, honor, academic, and social backgrounds there is something for everyone.  Students are encouraged to become involved in organizations as early as their first year leading to networking and practical training for after school.  The Hanover student population is about 50% student-athlete which shows the sense of community needed to create such a competitive presence in and out of the classroom.  In the last 5 years, Hanover’s Athletics have been awarded over 37 conference championships titles and most impressively were awarded the Commissioner’s Cup in the last 2 years.  Student-athletes at Hanover are some of the most academically and socially motivated members of our community.

In addition to organizations on campus, Hanover College understands that investing in its students is key to their success.  According to data collected by the Department of Education, “Hanover College is in the top 25% of schools nationwide that spend the most on services designed to support students’ emotional and physical well-being, as well as social, cultural, and intellectual development outside of the classroom”.  Meaning that your investment is used to directly support you in meaningful ways.

Lastly, as much as our student’s love being on campus and in class, they stay for only 4 years.  In fact, Hanover College has a 4-year guarantee meaning that students following their directed program pathway consecutively are guaranteed to graduate in 4 years or their tuition for a 5th year is free!
