History
The partnership between international students and Arizona Western College/Northern Arizona University in Yuma represents a student population drawn from over twenty nations world-wide, making the college a "multicultural" learning center. Yuma, Arizona was the Colorado River crossing site into California during the gold rush days. Today it remains rich in history and culture, within easy travel distance to the Pacific Ocean, mountains and water areas, archaeological and geological wonders, and California and Mexico.
