Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC) is a campus of the State University of New York (SUNY) located in rural Upstate New York at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The campus is less than an hour's drive from the state capitol, Albany, NY as well as the famous tourist towns of Cooperstown, NY (National Baseball Hall of Fame) and Saratoga Springs, NY. It is centrally located within a four-hour drive between Boston, Manhattan, and Montreal, Canada.
Fulton-Montgomery Community College offers 50 two-year associate degree programs or one-year certificate options. FMCC has some of the most successful transfer programs in the SUNY community college system, with many students going on to earn baccalaureate and graduate degrees.

Programs include: Accounting, Business Administration; Computer Science; Criminal Justice; Early Childhood Education; Fine Arts; Health, Physical Education & Recreation; Human Services; Liberal Arts & Sciences (Communications, English, Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences); Office Technology; Sports Management; Undergraduate Nursing; and Theater Arts.
Facilities, Costs and Calendar
Fulton-Montgomery Community College maintains one of the region's finest community college teaching facilities, with 90 percent of its teaching faculty having earned degrees at the master's or doctoral level.
Tuition fees, housing, and meals are estimated at $12,000.00/ semester. Classes begin September and January (15 weeks each).
Summer terms (10 weeks) also available for students needing Intensive English Language prior to college study.
Student Information
FMCC is culturally diverse enrolling nearly 125-150 international students each year from twenty different nations. The size of the school, approximately 2800 students, and the design of the campus, enable each student to become involved and enjoy what college life has to offer.
Students can pre-arrange housing: shared student apartments in a dormitory-style apartment complex adjacent to the campus.
FMCC is accredited by the Middlestates Association of Schools and Colleges.
Typically classes at FMCC are small, averaging about 30.
As a Fulton-Montgomery Community College student you'll enjoy campus life with our many clubs and activities. FMCC also has a long history of winning athletic teams. We offer men's baseball, basketball and soccer, women's basketball, volleyball and soccer, and co-ed track and bowling. The International Student Club also sponsors parties, trips, and cultural events.
Admission
The TOEFL exam is NOT required. FMCC offers an Intensive English Language Program. Students can enter the college for English as a Second Language study and then, after completion, directly enroll in their intended academic program.

Unique aspects about FMCC include our new academic programs and excellent facilities. We have several new buildings on campus that include a new Fitness Center, Art Gallery, Center for Technology, Computer and Science Laboratories and a Performing Arts Theater.
