The 10th largest 4-year academic institution in Massachusetts, BSU offers 36 undergraduate and 80 graduate programs that will open your eyes and expand your worldview in ways you may not anticipate.  With classes that are small in size (average 22 students) and taught by professors, not teaching assistants, there is an individual focus on education and growth.  BSU boasts an array of academic resources such as our recently nationally AURA awarded Undergraduate Research Program, as well as programs that push you to excel in your goals. BSU offers internship opportunities and many of our international students go on to participate in Optional Practical Training after graduation.

We know the cost of college is a major part of your decision-making process when choosing where to attend, and we are dedicated to helping you find the resources to make college a reality.  At BSU you receive an outstanding education at a cost that makes it one of the best values around. Undergraduate international students are automatically eligible to receive the Horace Mann scholarship (up to $5,000) and Graduates are eligible for Graduate Assistantships which provide tuition stipends.

Located just 30 miles south of Boston you will find people who challenge and inspire you.  BSU has a breadth of diversity so you will find like-minded people as well as those who come from different backgrounds.  Named the 5th safest campus in the USA, BSU features 11 residence halls, state-of-the-art academic, athletic and residential facilities, a professionally staffed wellness center and a dedicated MBTA Commuter Rail stop (that goes to Boston).  For students who do not live on campus, our commuter lounges, eateries, coffee spots and study spaces help integrate you into our welcoming community.  As a BSU student, you will have access to a variety of support services, events and activities, clubs and organizations (over 90) to support and enrich your time on campus both in and out of the classroom.

BSU's vision reflects the importance of diversity and social justice in its work within the university, the region and beyond.  Here on our campus, we value the contributions our international students make in and out of the classroom and the richness they provide in their opinions, perspectives and teachings to our campus community and beyond.
