CELOP is Boston University’s intensive English language program and the only accredited university ESL program in Boston. CELOP offers a unique model that helps students meet their goals and find the next step in their academic or professional career. Since 1975, CELOP has sent thousands of students to universities around the US.

CELOP programs are primarily designed for students who need English for success in their academic career but we also offer programs for professional growth and personal enrichment.

Experienced Boston University ESL Faculty

CELOP students have the opportunity to learn in small class sizes with one-on-one attention from our experienced Boston University ESL faculty. Our faculty will help students acclimate to American culture with a focus on providing skills for workplace and academic readiness.

At CELOP, we have created a supportive learning environment that provides students with individual advising to assist them with the complex college application process.

Our primary goal is to help students find the right “next step” in their professional or educational life. We work closely to educate our students about the nuances of the college admission process. We provide expert guidance throughout the college admissions process by having students work with our admissions advisor who provides individualized attention to each student.
