Marvelwood students are global citizens. This may be hard to believe with a campus situated in tranquil bliss atop a mountain—but it couldn’t be more accurate about who we are as a community. As a Round Square member school, we host student exchanges that foster a deep understanding and respect for other cultures. But this is just the surface when it comes to global education at Marvelwood; our travel adventures include service-learning experiences that deeply influence our social consciousness and inspire a lifetime of awareness and action.

An Ideal Location

Our mountain-top 83-acre campus is just two hours north of New York City, with easy access to major international airports.  A nearby train line connects the area with New York City.  The town of Kent, Connecticut enjoys the best of all seasons: spectacular fall foliage, snow in the winter, beautiful and vibrant spring colors, and warm, dry summers.  Outdoor activities on campus and in the area are enjoyed throughout the year.
