ECCU imitates the strengths of its parent corporation, The International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants, internationally known as EC-Council. The parent organization is a leading IT training, and credentialing body specialized in Information Security and Assurance.

Why ECCU?

History

EC-Council University (ECCU) was founded in 2003 by Jay Bavisi; the Chairperson of the Board. In 2006, it got licensed by the New Mexico Higher Education Department. The university is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This educational institute is dedicated to reducing the increasing cybersecurity skills gap by producing efficient information security professionals.

ECCU firmly believes that security professionals should not limit their learnings to gaining technical skills only, but must also be educated and trained to step into managerial and executive roles in their organizations. The same belief laid the foundation of the Master of Science in Cyber Security program and the Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security program.
