SUU is ranked 53rd in the nation by US News & World Report Regional Universities in the West 2015. Each year Southern Utah University (SUU) welcomes students from more than 37 different countries to our Cedar City, Utah campus. They come to take part in our 100+ nationally recognized undergraduate programs and 10 master’s degree programs that are known for academic excellence.

English as a Second Language (ESL) is offered on SUU’s campus. One of the safest campuses in the United States, SUU is near 13 national and state parks and just a 2.5 hour drive from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Our small class sizes – that average fewer than 30 students in 73 percent of our courses – allow professors to work closely with students and mentor them in their studies and career plans.
