Admissions requirements

At the undergraduate level, SUNY Oswego uses a holistic application review process for both admission and merit-based scholarship consideration:

Admissions requirements at the graduate level vary by program. Graduate applicants who are non-native English speakers must demonstrate proof of English proficiency, typically through either IELTS (6.5), TOEFL (79, or 83 for MBA programs), or a Duolingo English Score (105).

Cost of attendance

One academic year of study at SUNY Oswego for an undergraduate international student - before any scholarships are awarded - is currently estimated to be $35,350 USD. This estimate is inclusive of tuition, fees, living expenses, health insurance, and books. However, the college automatically considers qualified undergraduate international students for scholarships at the time of their application; these awards range from $9,000 -  $14,000 per year. Graduate level international students can expect to pay between $37,500 - $38,400 per academic year (inclusive of tuition, fees, living expenses, health insurance, and books), though they may apply for Graduate Assistantships, Graduate Fellowships, scholarships, grants, and awards that would help defray their annual cost of attendance.
