At NYU Washington, DC, you have unlimited access to a wide range of activities that explore US culture and history. Students live just steps away from the entertainment, shopping, and attractions on the city’s trendy 14th Street corridor.
In your free time you may visit one of the Smithsonian museums ; tour government buildings; attend performances at the Kennedy Center; enjoy hikes through Great Falls Park ; and visit George Washington’s impressive Mount Vernon estate.
Housing
The top six floors of NYU’s academic center in Washington, DC, are reserved for student housing. Students share four-person suites (two per room), and each suite includes desks, wardrobes, and a private bathroom. An on-site residence manager and residential-life staff provide guidance and plan student-life activities. There is also a 24-hour security staff. The center is conveniently located near metro and bus services.

Eligibility
The NYU Washington, DC, academic center is open to college students who are currently earning a degree at an accredited college or university. To be considered for admission, you must have completed at least one full year of college study and maintained a competitive grade-point average.
