Spend the upcoming fall or spring semester at NYU Washington, DC, in the heart of the US capital. Experience the city’s distinctive intellectual, political, and cultural life while you study under the guidance of world-renowned faculty just blocks away from Capitol Hill, the White House, the World Bank, and the Supreme Court.

NYU Washington, DC, offers courses in an array of subjects, including public policy, journalism, and economics. While in Washington, DC, you have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of politics, law, and society through an internship with a government agency, international organization, NGO, museum, or other institution.

Housing

The top six floors of NYU’s academic center in Washington, DC, are reserved for student housing. Students share four-person suites (two per room), and each suite includes desks, wardrobes, and a private bathroom. An on-site residence manager and residential-life staff provide guidance and plan student-life activities. There is also a 24-hour security staff. The center is conveniently located near metro and bus services.

Tuition costs for 2015–2016 are approximately $23,875 per semester. Visit the NYU Office of Global Programs website for the most up-to-date tuition and fees. Additional costs include airfare, meals, personal travel, and related expenses.

Eligibility

The NYU Washington, DC, academic center is open to college students who are currently earning a degree at an accredited college or university. To be considered for admission, you must have completed at least one full year of college study and maintained a competitive grade-point average.
