About Truckee Meadows Community College

Established in 1971, Truckee Meadows Community College is located in Reno, Nevada, the beautiful American West, overlooking the Sierra Nevada Mountains. TMCC is a two-year institution serving over 15,000 students. TMCC offers more than 160 degree programs with Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Transfer degrees as well as Associate of General Studies and Associate of Applied Science degrees.

Truckee Meadows Community College is an affordable alternative to the university and many students choose to begin their academic program at TMCC before transferring to University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) or other four-year institutions across the United States through the TMCC 2+2 transfer agreement program. TMCC is continuously developing partnerships with universities throughout the United States - you can start at TMCC and go anywhere!

Admission to Truckee Meadows Community College

TMCC admits students each fall semester and spring semester terms. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis prior to each semester. The following are TMCC’s admission requirements.
