Alfred State International Student Scholarships

State University of New York (SUNY) Alfred, also known as Alfred State, offers scholarships to international students who begin their studies in the August/fall semester.
Alfred State International Student Scholarships are merit-based and require no additional application.
Available scholarships:
International Excellence Scholarship
Awards up to $7,000 to international students who meet two of the following criteria:
- 79/80 TOEFL score,
- 3.25 college grade-point-average (90 overall high school average may be substituted),
- and/or 1200 (critical reading and math) combined SAT,
- a member in good standing of Phi Theta Kappa.
International Merit Scholarship
Awards up to $3,000 to international students who meet two of the following criteria:
- 71 TOEFL score,
- 3.0 college grade-point-average (an 88 overall high school average may be substituted),
- and/or 1100 (critical reading and math) SAT,
- a member of good standing of Phi Theta Kappa.

Alfred State Cost of Attendance
Tuition, fees, housing, food, and health insurance for one year in a bachelor-degree program are just under $31,000 USD, or $24,000 USD per year in an associates-degree program.
