Northeastern University Named a Top Tier Institution for Research Activity

Northeastern University has been named a leading institution for research activity, according to the Carnegie Classification of Institutes of Higher Education.
The classification, which "signals the impact of the university’s strategic vision" over the past 10 years, also holds Northeastern as one of only 15 universities to move into the ranking since its previous report, which was published in 2010.
