What's the difference between 'college' and 'university'?
1) The US has both 4-year and 2-year colleges
2) 2-year colleges generally grant only associates degrees
3) 4-year colleges and universities grant bachelor's degrees and most also grant master's degrees
4) University degree programs are grouped by department, such as 'College of Engineering' or 'School of Graphic Design'
5) If you're not sure if a college offers associate degrees or undergraduate degrees, ask their admissions department
