From UNR student Jessica Souza: When it's Time to Leave Home
Jessica Souza is a student from the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program. She is a Telecommunication Engineering major who is studying Electrical and Computer Engineering in the United States. She came to the U.S. in March of 2014 for her exchange program, and the University of Nevada, Reno became her new home for this amazing experience. She became proficient in English, learned a third language, had academic classes, and did research here for more than a year. When her program was about to end, Jessica had the opportunity to write an article in which to share everything she learned, what she thinks about studying abroad, and the achievements it brought for her. She leaves an inspiring message for those thinking about studying in another country and how it can benefit their career.
