I am addicted to research, so when I read about the U.S. Department of Education's new website which allows students and their families to research the cost of U.S. schools, I felt like I found a nugget of gold! A nugget of gold that I am happy share with you. The College Affordability and Transparency Center gives students a variety of ways to search and find the cost of a particular college or university (to understand the U.S. definition of "college," click here and here). For example, you can look at all public, 4-year institutions with the lowest tuition costs and fees. You can also search for the price of career and vocational programs.
