California State University, Chico welcomes students with Proyecta 100,000 program!

California State University, Chico and the American Language and Culture Institute are very happy to welcome 10 students from Mexico as part of the Proyecta 100,000 program. The Proyecta 100,000 is a Mexican Agency for International Cooperation and Development student mobility program designed to provide educational opportunities for university-level students from Mexico. The goal of the program is to send 100,000 students from Mexico to the United States and 50 thousand U.S. students to Mexico by 2018. This fall, the program has sent 7,500 students to 160 higher education institutions in 30 states. The American Language and Culture Institute was selected to provide intensive English instruction and cultural education and is hosting the students at Chico State.
