Programs: Stony Brook offers 64 majors and 81 minors, Division 1 athletic programs, student clubs and organizations as well as world class facilities. The Intensive English Center (IEC) also provides four levels of instruction in academic English with 6-week and 15-week programs.

Conditional admission: Students who successfully complete the advanced IEC level and are academically eligible for undergraduate admission do not have to take the TOEFL/IELTS exam.
