Lewis University is home to more than 80 undergraduate majors and programs of study, 35 graduate programs, and accelerated programs for working adults through the Colleges of Aviation, Science and Technology, Business, Education and Social Sciences, Humanities, Fine Arts and Communications, and Nursing and Health Sciences.
With a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1, your professors are attuned to your interests and career goals. You get direct, hands-on experience and work side-by-side with professors and classmates.
Complementing this instruction is Lewis' Career Services Center. It hosts events like the annual "Career Expo 2024" to connect students with potential employers and internship opportunities. What's more, the biannual Career Fairs bring more than 300 companies seeking to hire Lewis graduates to campus. For College of Business undergraduate students, Lewis even offers guaranteed internships from companies located all around the world.
For international students in STEM-designated graduate programs, Lewis counselors provide personalized guidance to navigate the complexities of Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT) employment options. CPT and OPT refer to two types of practical training available for international students on F-1 visas. As many as 85% of international students in some programs have landed successful placements.
