The English Language & Fashion Certificate Programs at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) offers students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to improve their English while studying at one of the world’s most respected fashion colleges — right in the heart of Manhattan.

This isn’t a typical English course. The curriculum is designed for fashion-minded students with intermediate to advanced English skills, blending language learning with industry exposure.

Program Schedule (Monday–Thursday)

• ESL Course: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Fashion Track: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Mornings focus on English language skills. Afternoons bring fashion business concepts to life — all while you’re surrounded by NYC’s creative energy.

Who Can Apply?

This program is ideal for students who:

• Are 18 years or older and have completed secondary education
• Have intermediate to advanced English proficiency
• Are interested in fashion, business, design, or creative industries

Applicants register for the course and complete a brief remote interview before the program begins.
