Program Options for International Students

SBCC offers two main program options for international students:

Academic Program
This program is for students who are ready to take college-level courses. Students can work toward an associate degree, certificate, general education requirements, or university transfer pathway.

English Language Training & College Prep Program
This program is for beginning to advanced English learners who want to improve their English and prepare for college-level study. A TOEFL score is not required for admission to this program. Students who successfully complete the program may advance into the Academic Program.

Life Outside the Classroom

SBCC staff can help students with housing questions and provide information about local housing providers, including professional placement services that help students find apartments or host families.
