Sep 10, 2021

Finding the money to attend college or university can be quite a struggle, especially for international students. That’s why it is by far one of the most popular questions on StudyUSA.com: where can I find scholarships for international students? We will be answering that popular question every week by posting schools that offer scholarships to international students.

Minnesota

Bemidji State University offers international students scholarships for those seeking undergraduate degrees. The International Student Merit Award (ISMA) is awarded to students at the time of admission and is based on the student’s academic records and admission essay. The scholarship is valued at $500 off tuition. The amount of scholarships available is limited and is given on a first-come basis. The scholarship is equivalent to the difference between resident tuition rate and non-resident tuition rate. The Presidential Honor Scholarship is for incoming freshmen who have taken the SAT or ACT. Scholarship amounts vary depending on exam scores. For more information about scholarships at Winona State University, click here.
