The University of New Haven (UNH) is a private suburban comprehensive university enrolling approximately 4,649 students of which 360 are international students from more than 40 countries.

Calendar and Deadlines

UNH admits undergraduate students for both the fall and spring semesters and graduate students for fall, winter and spring terms. The University of New Haven has a rolling admissions process, which means that we do not have a specific deadline. However, we recommend that you submit your application as early as possible. Our application process varies by type of applicant, and the admission requirements vary based on the applicant's educational history and intended major. For more information regarding international admissions procedures, please contact the International Admissions Office and request that the International Student Brochure be mailed to you.
