The College

Menlo College is one of the premier small colleges of management in the Western United States, offering excellent programs in Liberal Arts, Business Management, and Mass Communication. Menlo's location in the heart of Silicon Valley allows the College to educate tomorrow's leaders in an intimate, student-centered, academically challenging environment in the middle of the most exciting, cutting-edge area in the world. The College is just large enough, with 700 students from all over the world and all around the United States, to be diverse and dynamic and exciting. But Menlo is small enough to remain a real community, where students live and work in close proximity to each other, and where it is easy to take advantage of our many extracurricular opportunities. Our distinguished professors come to know their students both inside and outside the classroom, and become more than just teachers, but really mentors and friends.

Challenging Academics

Menlo's unique academic program allows you to work with talented faculty in classes averaging 15 students in size. Classes tend to be interactive, and a Menlo education emphasizes the development of critical thinking abilities, communication skills, and the acquisition of a wide-ranging knowledge. Menlo's ideal location, on a beautiful, wooded campus in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, is perfect for the college experience. Our campus is located in the green, leafy community of Atherton, minutes from the bookstores, coffeehouses, and restaurants of Menlo Park and Palo Alto. And Menlo is just 25 miles from San Francisco, one of the world's most exciting cities.

Menlo's 700 students come from literally all over the world, as 20% of our population is international. Our domestic students come from all over the U.S. and are extremely diverse in socio-economic and ethnic terms. Wherever they are from, our students are part of a real community that encourages them to become leaders - in the classroom, in Student Government, in our clubs, and on the athletic fields.

Menlo College offers generous merit scholarships of up to $16,000 per year

Conditional Admission

Our alliance with Language Pacifica, an intensive English school just a short 200 meter walk from the Menlo College Campus, enables us to grant conditional admission to students with TOEFL or STEP, or IELTS scores below our minimum.
